My thoughts
By Nathaniel
This machine could be amazing. However, the power supply is god awful. It holds this computer back from it's full potential. Yes, it may have a pretty graphics card, but none of that matters when your power supply can barley power it. I can't believe CyberPowerPC would even think of putting a 350 watt power supply in this computer. At least it needs 500 watt. The good news is you can purchase a power supply for relatively cheap. That's not the problem though. The problem is that normally people buy this type of computer don't know much about the insides of it. So in short this computer needs a new power supply straight out of the box.

Very Pleased So Far
By Lorenzo J. Morin
My trusty high end 17" laptop had begun making disturbing little noises so after a quick search decided to grab this setup from Amazon. Shipping was very fast using the standard free ship and box arrived well packed and secure. I had a new monitor all ready and unpacking and setup was as simple as one could ask for. I had been concerned about it and was not expecting this system to be so quiet as it has several fans onboard. As stated by another, there is a refreshing lack of crap packed onto this systems hard drive, just the basic essentials. Neat, clean, drive and directory. Extremely well vented case shows off the very neat component assembly. At least makes you feel that someone took a little time with it and cared a bit. I can't fault the performance as my most demanding game runs very well. Improvements can be made for relatively low cost but I don't feel in any real hurry. The low cost Square Trade 3 yr. warrantee was a good "piece of mind" add on for this also.I was expecting issues with Windows 8 but so far have had only one problem installing a program. Most all of my legacy stuff installed easily and runs well with no compatibility issues at all. The new Start screen actually grows on you but having a standard Desktop and file Explorer just a quick key press away is nice too.The keyboard though light doesn't seem fragile and the keys feel secure and uniformly responsive. I find that I use the special speaker control keys a lot. The mouse works reliably as well. I even find myself using the funky side page up-down keys.I would definitely look at another CyberPowerPC if this one proves reliable over timeEdit Jan 24: System is on morning till bedtime 7 days a week and still running quietly and problem free. Still very pleased.Edit Nov 29: Still the same, on morning till night. Still no problems. Still love it ! No significant issues with Win 8 either. Stable and fast.

Awesome after a few minor upgrades....
By Nicholas Miller
I'm going to try and stay away from reviewing the specs on this machine. You know what you are getting looking at the parts list. I was quite happy with the purchase as I don't have the time to invest in scratch building a gaming rig and the offer I had on this was quite good. The positives:I7 Intel processor is fast and has handled everything I've thrown at it.Out of the box it was well assembled, no loose screws, all wires tucked neatly into the case. As a former network tech, I was pleased with the quality. It stays cool (for now). I have not overclocked it and during normal use stays at a nice 33c - 42c while running (and does so quietly). What I did to make it much, much better:First, the graphics card is bargain big fodder. I replaced it right awayWhich leads to replacing the power supply. 650w unit was under 60$ shipped from AmazonI also upgraded the ram. Yes, it comes with 8g (but only at 1333) so I upgraded that to 16gb of Vengence DDR3 at 1600With those simple fixes the machine is excellent and plays anything I've tried to run on it. Sims 3 at max? No issue. LOTRO at max? No issue. Skyrim on Ultra, Battlefield, no problems :DIt's a good out of the box unit, with a little know-how it can be a great one.
