My kids and I love this computer although it was hard to get used to the windows 8 and we are still confused by it. My biggest complaint is that the computer came pre-loaded with tons of software like norton, toshiba health, games app, etc. Within the first few weeks I started getting a "Windows is low on memory" warning. The computer has 8gb of RAM and I had nothing running at the time. I ended up having to pay $30 for clean up software to fix the warning. The computer basically came with errors in the registry and other places. I blame all the prepackaged "Crap" that was put on there.Unfortunately it also came with a tiny scratch on the monitor, inside the glass so there was no fixing it and it was too small to return it for. You can only see it when there is a light background on the desktop.Over all I love this computer and it is fast and fun to use. I have not tried gaming on it yet but plan to. If you decide to purchase it, be ready to also purchse clean up software to fix all the preloaded problems. Once that is on there, it didn't complain anymore and ran great.

The i7 quad core is just fast, no waiting!!! Features like the touch screen and wireless keypad and mouse are great....only plug needed is the power cord! The only problem is Windows 8. The computer keeps locking up and automatically restarting. For some reason when viewing a PDF from explorer it locks up and needs to restore the session. Windows 8 is just flat out terrible!

Negatives: 1. Monitor's third leg makes the viewing angle too extreme. It would be better to have a design enabling it to be more upright. (closer to 90 degree angle). 2. CD/DVD holder on side of unit is made of cheap plastic and is flimsy. 3. USB ports are located on the left side of the unit and is difficult to get to. I am right handed and I have my desk set up with my computer on the right side of my desk and my printer on the left. The monitor and printer have little space to access the USB ports. An easy fix is to obtain a "drop down USB port hub" so it my lay on the desk. 4. The keyboard is not full size. 5. Lastly, Toshiba help desk offers poor customer service. I am new to Windows 8 and had some questions so I phoned them to ask. As accurate as I can remember, the representative said to me "We aren't expected to teach you how to use this. When you buy a car the car company isn't expected to teach you how to drive". He then told me if I pay them $159 I can have my questions answered for one year.
