This computer replaced my 10 year old Gateway machine, which served with only minor problems but was becoming too slow. The new Gateway computer does every thing that I need to do and with Windows 7 replacing Windows XP, everything is more intuitive, quicker and enjoyable. Set up and transfer of data from my old machine was accomplished with a minimum of effort: emails, itunes music etc. The computer has 10 usb 2.0 ports with 4 0n the front and top. With 3 gb speed, 6 gb memory and a 1 tb hard drive plus an external drive for redundancy the computer should be powerful enough for all but the most intense game players. I also purchased a 24 in. led monitor from ViewSonic which is bold and bright and a perfect companion for my work station at home. The price for the computer with Windows 7, the monitor, keyboard, DVD burner and mouse was only $670.00, which is a very good buy in my opinion.

I have had this computer since October 4th and it is a very fast machine. My old HP took a minute or more to boot up. This one will boot up in less than 20 seconds. I haven't used the cd rom or any of the media card reader. But I have watched a few movies from Netflix and Amazon on it.I have it hooked up to my 32 inch lcd with a hdmi cable and the picture is awesome! I really like how the front "cow" box lights up. It also lights up around the cd rom and on top. It is very quite . I love that it is wireless since I have the computer in my bedroom and had to put my router in the living room. I really don't have anything negative to say about it.

I am using this computer now and I just love it. For the price this computer has everything I need for everyday computing and internet surfing. Would buy another one in the future.
