I researched and reviewed many, many Desktop Computers. I finally narrowed it down to this one. It has an i3 processor which is what I wanted. The i5 or i7 would have been great too, but they were a little too pricey for me. I out a couple of computer stores and found that this was the best deal. I would have liked one of the USB inputs on top, because they would be easier to see, but I manage. I am retired and enjoy my music and surfing a little. I wish I knew how to use half of the features it has, but I am happy to know what I know. It's great. I would highly recommend it. I have an HP Laptop and now this PC and am happy with both. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

In cases such as ucima3fan (above), check for updates to scanner firmware. Mfg sometime issued updates to enable their products to work with 64bit Win7. I have P7-1030 also and at first my printer would not work with it. I checked and downloaded Hp printer upgrade. Now printer and P7-1030 work fine together.I like the P7-1030. Fast and easy to use. I did uninstall some of the bundled programs that came with it since I knew I would not need, nor use, them. I have a lot of programs and games I purchased for my old XP. So far, all the ones I have installed on the P7-1030 are doing fine. I did have to tell P7-1030 to run one program in XP mode which was a very easy process you do once for the particular program.

Replaced an old Dell that was short on memory and very slow. With 8GB of memory, this one is fast. Was disappointed that my HP scanner would not work with the 64bit Win7. But i'm loving the new speed and power. Delivery was fast and setup went well. Bought on NC tax-free weekend and free shipping made for good deal.
