The Acer X1920-UR20P Aspire Desktop unit is extremely fast. It is a handsome conservative looking computer with the exception of the obnoxious blue power lamp. I had to provide a wireless adapter in the form of a usb plug in by netgear rated at 325/425 dual band. This set up is tremendously faster than the previous 8 computers i have owned. I am impressed by the value most of all. A fast cpu like this would have been worth 800-1100 dollars just 1 year ago. It is a great set up. Oh yes. It is on my wood desk beside me and the operating noise you can hear is the fan. And the fan only makes a noise that sound more like air being drawn quietly into a ventilation grate. This is the first machine I've owned that did not have a whiiirrrr and click ckick of the harddrive working. This CPU within 17 inches from my ear is whisper quiet. I AM HIGHLY SATISFIED WITH THE PURCHASE. AWSOME DEAL...

The good: Quiet, fast, decent built in graphics and solid build quality for an inexpensive machine.The bad: The machine has a bit of bloat ware and regular VGA not DVI port.So far very happy.

I can't rate the performance because windows 7 doesn't work with my current modem speed. But I can say that you would need to buy a multiple usb connector unless you want to plug into the front of the computer. there are only 2 ports in the back- not enough for keyboard, printer, mouse and any extras.I was very happy dealing with Amazon
