The Xcelon 275x2 is the fourth entry in XSMotion's high performance computer system line. Like its younger sibling, the Xcelon 275x2 is designed and built with components that allow for future growth and expansion as technology moves forward. It is designed around Intel's flagship Core i7 920 processor supporting blazing fast triple channel main memory for unparalleled application speed. It uses two commanding EVGA GTX 275 graphics accelerators, each supporting 896 MB of on-board DDR3 video memory.Like the Xcelon 275x1, it uses the EVGA 1366 SLI motherboard. This motherboard supports NVIDIA's SLI technology which allows multiple graphics cards to be installed and used as a single graphics engine. A third GTX 275 graphics card can be added in the future, using SLI, to further enhance your video performance. As your video performance requirements grow, your system can grow with you. Unlike most of our competitors, our dual-SLI systems like the Xcelon 275x2 come with a full 12 GB of G.SKILL DDR3 1600 MHz triple channel high speed memory. Anything less just doesn't make sense if you're running applications that are taking advantage of dual or triple SLI. As with the Xcelon 275x1, this system comes with a 1 TB 7200 RPM Western Digital Caviar Black hard drive so that your demanding video games and other video applications do not leave your system storage-bound. Finally, this system comes encased in Cooler Master's satin finished black, mid-tower Centurion 590 chassis with an acrylic gaming side which comes standard with four 120 mm fans for efficient cooling but accommodates up to eight 120 mm fans, plenty of space for future growth, and a roomy interior that allows for dual or triple graphics card setups. This system is intended to be a step up in performance from Xcelon 275x1 while still providing the same level of versatility and future growth options.
