I've been building computers for 15 years, and I can say that this is the easiest, most trouble free install yet.My system consist of :1. i7 2600 processor2. nVidia gt440 card3. 2tb WD black drive4. 16gb ram6. Samsung DVD player/recorder7. OCZ 240gb SSD8. Windows 7 64bit9. Internal flash card readerI had some concerns due to the small 300w power supply, but the system is completely stable. I'm really impressed with how almost Apple like this device is both in terms of form and function. Install is very easy. Everything well laid out. No sharp edges. Processor pops right in. ICE cooling is quieter than stock fan and the CPU runs cool even under load. Fairly quiet, though the fan does have a slightly annoying howling sound at first, then quiets down after 10 minutes or so. Not sure why it does this. No problems with drivers in Windows 7 64 bit. Overall I'm completely happy with my choice.

This is a great foundation for a new computer system. This Shuttle system includes the motherboard, case and matching power supply, and of course includes a power cord. The powersupply and motherboard use quality components and are very dependable. The heat pipe cooling for the CPU is included and integrated, you simply install you CPU, a hard drive and turn the system on. Add your OS and you're up and running. This system works well with Linux and Win7.Here's the other pieces I put into the system:Intel i7 2700 CPU Intel Core i7-2700K 3.50 GHz Quad-Core UnlockedSiiG Firewire card SIIG FireWire 2-Port PCIe (NN-E20012-S2)Corsair XMS3 16GB memory (4x4Gb) Corsair XMS3 16GB (4x 4GB) PC3-10666 1333MHz DDR3 Memory Kit for AMD and Intel Dual Channel Processors CMX16GX3M4A1333C9Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB system boot drive I've had for a year or more.Western Digital Caviar Green 1Tb data drive, as a secondary internal drive.I also installed an old DVD drive I had laying around so I could install a few things via DVD.I have been happy with my system and these are the Windows 7 Experience numbers for those who are interested. These graphics numbers were generated using the graphics hardware built into the mother board via the DVI and HDMI ports. I am driving two 24" Dell UltraSharp monitors (at 1920 x 1200) with no problems at all.Processor: 7.6Memory: 7.6Graphics: 6.5Gaming: 6.5Primary hard disk: 5.9I tried a couple of PCIe video cards and while they got a slightly better experience rating, it wasn't worth the increase to the noise the system was making.Using the EVGA GeForce 440 GT I got a rating of 6.7 for both the Graphics and Gamings scores. EVGA GeForce GT 440 1024 MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 2DVI/Mini-HDMI Graphics Card, 01G-P3-1441-KRI use this system as the computer component to a FlexRadio 5000A software defined radio system, so I needed to make sure it would work well and would have a low RF impact on my home and radio setup. It has proven to be great in all aspects. The SIIG firewire card is working well interfacing with the radio and everything is working well together. Running the PowerSDR software along with many other applications I rarely see my usage jump above 10%, thus I don't have any issues with lost audio. I have no hesitation running other apps and completely using the computer as I work the radio.As you can see above, my weakest link is the hard drive, which I hope to replace with an SSD boot drive in the near future.5 Stars, It's really a great system, I am very happy with it and give it a thumbs up too!

Bang for the buck with limitations.This little PC has some surprising features that you wouldn't expect.PLUS +It will hold two (2) hard drives!It has an on-board socket for a laptop type Bluetooth/WiFi card which works very well.It supports a wide range of socket 1155 processors, Pentium, i3, i5, and i7.It supports up to 32 gigabytes of DDR3 ram.It has a 300 watt power supply which is upgradeable to a 500 watt version available from Shuttle.MINUS -The Intel video through the CPU and on-board is not great and does not do well when playing back DVDs and BDs as it does not give good color rendering.It has a limited list of video cards it will support most of which are either under powered or cost as much or more then the PC itself! You need to take this list seriously when thinking about buying a video card for this PC. I have purchased and tried to used 4 different video cards all of which cause the system to freeze and crash then I discovered the list of approved cards when I went to Shuttles website.The USB 3 ports look like USB 2 ports but don't respond the same in the boot stage so if you us a wireless keyboard and mouse you will have to plug the doggle in a USB 2 port in the back for best result on booting.The user guide is incomplete and does not cover on-board WiFi socket or video card limitations.Support response from Shuttle is not quick so be prepared to wait up to several days for a response.
