4Watch out for the 5-beeps!!!
By Adamhlj
If you get this product, after your computer updates a LOT of stuff, it might not turn on. If it starts a sequence of 5 beeps, then this is what you have to do:Watch a youtube video on how to take the side panel off.Remove panel.Remove Video Card. Just unscrew it, and pull up gently. You do not need to disconnect it from the power supply.Look for disk on the back end of the computer that has a yellow plastic cover with wires connected to a small port on the motherboard. This is the CMOS battery.Unplug wires from the MB.Wait a few minutes.Plug back in and put computer back together.Connect to power, TV, keyboard and turn on.Hit F2 a bunch of times until you get to the BIOS.Change boot mode from legacy to UEFI.F10 to save and exit.Your computer should boot up after this.Edit: Apparently I am not allowed to post a website. But just google alienware x51 5 beeps and it will take you to the dell community forum. This page is where I found the information. I don't know much about computers, but this was the issue for me, and it fixed my computer.

2Overheating Issues because of GTX
By G. Hakes
Anyone considering purchasing an X51 Gaming Pc should be warned that their X51 will get very hot if using any GTX Video card inside it. The case is just too small with improper circulation. I sold mine not long after i got it because it got so hot with an GTX 560 in it that you could practically boil eggs on the top of itafter 30 minutes. If it gets that Hot inside it, chances are it won't have a long Lifespan. If you want a high end gaming Rig than i highly suggest building your own PC, chances are pretty good it will out perform an X51 and be much cooler inside. Also the Power Supply is under powered, a 320 Watt power supply can not provide the X51 with enough juice if using any GTX Card, at some point the Power Supply will likely pop and blow out your Motherboard or CPU or Both. Yes they look nice, but i'm passing on this. Furthermore the X51 is not upgradeable like a self built PC is, once you buy an X51 you are extremely limited with any upgrades. Also reported are a lot of incompatible graphic's cards people are trying to put in them. Below is a Watt usage specs for Alienware X51 I5 as you can see the power supply is not sufficient to power the components, and will overload and pop at some point in time and likely taking out components inside the PC.I5 Processor = 95 WattsGTX Card = 175 Watts or HigherHard Drive = 30 WattsDVD Drive 25 WattsMB. = 30 Wattsnetwork card 10 WattsFans 5 WattsTotal Minimum 340 WattsAs you can see the X51 using the most Extreme minimum watt requirements, uses 10 more watts than the X51 power supply can provide. Furthermore a power supply should never use more than 80 percent of it's total output capacity because doing so will cause it to overheat and over load and degrade over time causing all kinds of issues that can ruin your PC.
