2Good computer... But...
By Jintarino
I like this computer, but there has been one big problem that is a deal breaker for me. When we listen to music or watch video whether online for from the hard drive there are times where there is a momentary stutter every 4-5 minutes. After doing some research we disabled the network adapters and the problem seemed to get better. However, the stuttering has started to crop up again. I have tried contacting HP customer service, but they gave me the driver reinstall runaround that didn't do anything productive. This problem seems to be documented for other HP models all over the place. I have had this computer for close to a month and I am not sure what I am going to do with it because music and video are essential. Of course I have already put all of our data, music etc on this computer so returning it is a lot more difficult than just sticking it back in the box.Purchase at your own risk..

5Best option out there for a great gaming PC for 1,000 bucks.
By K. Geddings
I had to replace my other PC because the CPU fan died (again) which means theres a bigger problem with the PC..and at this point i felt it was just best to replace the whole thing which i dreaded a little because the problem is finding a good computer with what you need for a good price sometimes can be tricky. You would think that best buy would have a few options (i actually bought my last PC from best buy) but the best desktop they had still just wasnt quite what i wanted. Its amazing that while most PCs today have good processers and good RAm in order to save money PC makers stick the low end graphics cards into them, and all the CPU and RAM in the world isnt going to cut it if your graphics card is the bottle net at the low end of the deal. Now yes this PC wont run every single game out there at 100 frames per second maxed out, but from what i have played so far this PC does very well. It just feels nice when you load up skyrim and your "recommended settings" is ultra quality :-). For the price this is realy the best option out there for most people who just dont have the funds or just rather not pay 3,000 bucks for a "Gaming PC". This will do the job just fine, Considering my older PC had a faulty CPU due to overheating the performance gains ive seen on this thing has been great. Minecraft runs smooth at mostly 60 fps on high optifine settings and 256x texture pack.. ..i can finally play Project Entroipa on High settings after the cryengine 2 update..it just is great. and well worth the money. For the causal PC user who just does email and websurfing any other PC will do you fine. but for those who actually want to be able to play games and not just play them but also do so on high settings! great stuff!I was a bit skeyptical at first because HP is not really known for "gaming PCs" but they did a really good job here. the system is very quiet as well and having 2 terabyte hard drive is great. also a nice bonus to have a blu ray drive on the thing too.if you were like me and wanted a new PC but nothing at best buy or office depot suited you and your hesitent to use any of these other online "gaming PC makers" (i had bad experience with that in the past..) this one will do you good. Highly recommended. it looks cool too! with nice red light on the front and on the side that is not overly flashy or distracting.Great job HP!

5Absolutely Perfect
By Trudi M. Rosenblum
This computer is just great. I wanted a good gaming rig to be able to play any game on atleast high settings, but was sceptical about building one since I'm really not a tech savvy person. I didn't wanna spend like 2,000 bucks on an overkill Desktop, so I decided to take my chances with this for 800 bucks. 150% worth the price. I've had this computer for about 3 and a half months (Bought it refurbished during christmas) and it's run perfectly. I've never had to take it in for repairs or anything yet, and it runs everygame as expected. The only downside is that the base graphics card isn't that great. I'm probably gonna shell out another 400 bucks for a GTX 680 in the near future. Even with the base card it comes with though, this still performs great and can play any game on Medium settings atleast. Well worth it if you don't wanna build your own, or spend insane money.
