I have been a gamer my whole life and recently got into PC games. The computer I had was nice but didn't have much to show for graphic quality and games had to be at low resolutions but still suffered lag. I decided to get this Alienware and couldn't be happier. Diablo 3 runs at max settings with anti-aliasing with no lag at all. Despite amazon and dell saying this computer didn't come with a keyboard and mouse (it wasnt pictured or mentioned so I had to ask) they both were packaged with the computer. If you want the keyboard that is backlit you'll need to order it separately.The computer itself is about the size of an Elite Xbox 360 and runs whisper quiet. The fan kicks in after a period of intense gaming but then goes back to its quiet state.In short, this computer is small and well worth the money. If you don't have a TV with HDMI you'll need to purchase a computer monitor as this doesn't include one (You can get a nice 24" 1080p for $200 or less)EDIT: Looks like Amazon updated the info for the computer since I inquired and bought it. All the specs are listed now.Hope this review helped any potential buyers!

This desktop is a powerful one with a small form factor, runs quiet. Desktop comes with a latest Ivy-bridge processor (22 nm, 3D Gate technology). The optical drive cannot playback blu-ray disks although the product specification on the web page says otherwise (I did notify the customer care at amazon).

I recently purchased the Alienware X-51 and had no problems at all. When I needed software advice Dell technical support was excellent. Overall great starter Gamer Machine. Later on I will upgrade to the outstanding Aurora Desktop or M18 Gaming Laptop.
