I got the Dell XPS8300 from Dell for $730.Core i7-2600, 8GB ram DDR3, 500gb 7200rpm HDD, Radeon HD6770, and I got a coupon for a Razer Blackwidow mechanical keyboard as well.I am very happy with the purchase. The only downside to Dell is all the bloatware they stick in it, but they're easily uninstalled.I've been playing Battlefield 3, and its been fast and fun. The machine is also quiet as a whisper. I can't barely hear the fans. I can sleep with this machine on and processing and it won't disturb me at all.I highly recommend this machine for value (it was cheaper to buy than to build my own with similar parts), it's small and attractive looking, it's great for both the latest games and for productivity.It's just a Jack Of All Trades to me.The only extra recommendation I have is to get rid of as much of the Bloatware as you can. 1year free Macafee? Uninstall it and download Microsoft Security Essentials, which is better and free. Forever.

I have not replaced our computer for seven years. Love how fast this new one is and the features and memory will last at least another seven years!
