I purchased this computer after my the graphics card on my previous Acer Desktop crashed. Here is my experience.Packaging: This computer comes securely delivered in a white box, with over the top blow-ups of the machine itself depicted on said box. I suggest that you have this product delivered when there is someone home, so not to attract sticky fingers if it is left at a front door (That's always a worry of mine). The computer is securely mounted in a 'caddy' system that gives assurance that the product was shipped with care.Initial reaction: Most T.V.'s start at about 32 inches and grow in size, so I wasn't expecting something spectacular. Apon removing the computer from the box, it was stunning. Not realizing that my previous monitor was a mere 13 inches, this was sight to see. The screen came carefully covered in fiber cloth. If you are new to all-in-one computers, this was a lot to take in.Hardware: The 27 inch screen sits about 3 inches above the computer base, held up by a chrome-plated bar. The screen is full HD, 1080p, and allows for crystal clear movies and television. The screen has a wide rotating motion.The computer base is about 5 x 3, and connects directly to the screen through the chrome bar. The computer requires one cable connection, the power/audio cord, and is neat and completely out of the way. The power/audio cord travels to the sub-woofer and power cord travels from the wall to the sub-woofer.The keyboard and mouse have a serious learning curve, more than what I was anticipating. The keyboard is smaller and lacks a numeric key pad. I often feel as if the keys are crushed together. The mouse pad works just like your typical laptop's trackpad, but has more gestures that are easily found on your typical smart phone. These gestures replace what was known as the click wheel and are a little tricky. A pre-installed program gives you a brief overview of what gestures you can use. These two items are troublesome at times, but are not permanent. You can easily purchase a new keyboard and mouse to switch out these if you see fit.The CPU has two fans either side, which frequently alternate speeds, even outside of use. The user guide strongly suggests to keep these areas free and in open air to keep everything cool. If you're prone to spilling drinks while browsing the internet, this may not be the computer for you, there isn't much of a clearance to protect the base from any unwanted liquids.You only truly need the one cord to operate the entire system. The computer comes equipped with Wi-Fi capabilities and a Bluetooth radio (allows for microphones and external speakers).This system lacks a optical drive, which could be a big deterrent for movie buffs. You can find any external drive to make this the perfect computer.Performance:This is not a gamers system. Trying to play some of my lighter games resulted in a few crashes. I was required to put each of my games to my old computers graphic settings in order for them to work. This unfortunately puts games into a 'letter box' format. The RAM is expandable, after some heavy researching to find this information.The sound system is pitiful. The sound ports are towards the bottom, and sound similar to a cheap pair of headphones. The sub-woofer doesn't add, in my opinion, any value to sound experience.The web cam is clear and easy to use. This light from the screen is enough for the webcam to work off of, so no need to be in a well lit room.This computer works with Microsoft Signature, which allows for quick cold boots. You computer can load in 30-45 seconds, start to finish.Overall:This computer is great for the person who doesn't want a bunch a frills, but wants something that is strong enough to multitask and has enough appeal to not want to replace it in a year.
