5Jan 3013 update
By Dee Dee Mac
I am very pleased with this unit and really enjoy the 23" screen. The clarity is excellent; its speed is very good; it is super quiet and I have not run into any snags since installing it on February 2nd, 2010. The touch screen is sensitive and you need to beware of old habits of touching the screen to point out something to someone else or to even brush lint from it as you will activate its ability to move things around. Also I find that when I open a screen if I try to move it to one side, it will often expand it to fit the full screen. So in trying to use it as a split screen, you have to stay away from the borders because they are sensitive and will react by supersizing the screen you are working on. Not a problem, just something for retraining your brain.Coming from a Microsoft wave type keyboard I find this one cramped and I therefore hit the wrong keys constantly, but that is my personal problem due to my flying fingers and again I need to retrain my brain. I like the sleek looks of the keyboard and mouse and it is such a pleasure to not deal with all the wires. It is a very streamlined unit and I am still adjusting to its features which are many.I had not heard of Acer but must say I am very happy with the quality and trouble-free set up right from the box. I do recommend this all-in-one unit because it has features the others do not that make it more versatile and expandable. Better than a comparably priced laptop for my money and the touch screen is so much fun!January 2013 Update:Cannot believe I have had this computer for three years. I must report two problems, well actually three: 1- the sleek keyboard died and has been replaced with one that suits my typing style better so no great loss. 2- It started to overheat and shut down. I thought that was it and it would take a big repair bill to get it back up and running but that was not the case. We purchased a small fan that clips onto the top of my desk and have it aimed at the back of the computer; it comes on with the computer so when the computer is running, so is the fan and the problem has stopped. I guess in making these so sleek they had to go with smaller fans and they just don't do the job. 3- This has to do with the touchscreen again; I find that I cannot leave this computer on overnight such as when it goes into updating when you go to shut it down. The small bugs are attracted to the light and land on the screen....their weight is enough to open and/or close programs. When I get back to it in the AM I have a lot to do to get things back in order and close all the opened windows. It is funny, but it can be time consuming to get it all back where it belongs. I still like the unit though and three years is pretty darned good.

4WONDERFUL!!! But Have Had Oveheating/Shut Down Issues
By R. OSullivan
This ACER all in one is truly a pleasure to work and play on. I upgraded from a 5 year old PC and this is worlds apart. The screen is huge, the colors beautiful, the touchscreen is fun, etc. Set up was a cinch even for a novice like me. The wireless, clutterless aspect sold me. Even the speakers and web cam are built in. Only the power plug and the modem line, that's it! I haven't explored everything yet but what I've used I love. The system, Windows 7 is terrific and user friendly. I like the wireless keyboard and mouse and both feel comfortable to me. The wireless connectivity is perfect. Everything synched right up and haven't lost the connection at all. I didn't know I would still need a router (I'm not very savvy on those issues) and when I found out I needed one then I simply upgraded (for free) thru my internet provider to a newer, faster modem that includes the router in the same unit. Between the ACER and the new modem I am now wasting no time booting up, trying to open programs or connecting to websites. The computer has had no problem finding other devices such as the modem, a wireless printer I added, the wii, etc. I love the sleek design and the function. For the price, I could not be happier.UPDATE: I've had this for 6 months and still LOVE it! Not a single glitch or problem at all!UPDATE AT THE JUST UNDER A YEAR MARK: Uh, oh. My beloved computer has started shutting down on its own. I think its overheating but have received no good input from the ACER technicians in India and the phone connection was terrible resulting in bad communication. Without even trying to diagnose the problem, I was advised to ship it at my own expense to the repair center. Let's just say the conversation did not go well and I am very unhappy with ACER's technical support. Otherwise, I still love the computer.FINAL UPDATE: it was a battle but ACER took over and sent someone out to repair the computer. It works great again, I will be out of luck. I am told regular maintenance in terms of opening it up and blowing out dust should help the overheating issue.UPDATE: My computer was eventually fixed in my home by ACER. It turned out that all along I had in home repair as an option on my warranty yet the people in India did not apprise me of that. I learned through all this they have second level support in Texas, and once I was put in touch with them I could actually hear what the rep was saying. But it's only because I enlisted the seller's help, in this case Costco, that I was even put in touch with Texas. And even then, the gal tried to tell me my problem could not be resolved in home because it couldn't be reasonably diagnosed on the phone. When I told her no one ever bothered toreally find out what was wrong, she agreed to listen to my problem and then she finally made an arrangement to send someone to my home. They showed up, fixed the computer in just a few minutes and it works great. After all it was only an overheating problem and obvious to me even as a novice that the fan needed to be replaced. All is well now, but it was unduly stressful just trying to get something I was entitled to under warranty.11/2011: The same problem has arisen again. I am battling it out at the moment as ACER should replace the unit or Costco should take it back and send it to ACER. Wish it worked properly as I otherwise love the computer, but I must have gotten a defective unit as it is overheating and shutting down again for the second time. The computer is still under Costco warranty but the problem has not been resolved yet to my satisfaction. Have taken one star off because this problem has recurred again.

5Great All in One AIO
By Ai Technologies
I got this computer about a month ago it, great machine all around and it looks wonderful, I would definitely recomend this computer to any one with a small space and a need for a big monitor with a touch screen that once you get to know you have one, you would love. The keyboard is the only part of the package than lets it down but still very usable.
