I had read several reviews on this product, including the new Windows 8 operating system, and I have found that many people were simply acting like children when confronting a new system. Windows 8 is ENTIRELY different than any oteghr operating system they have released before and not only is it inovativce to match the rise of app based technology, but it is also fun to use and a neverending possibility for personalization and shortcuts.I have also used several different models of all-in-one computers and the HP Envy has everything I need for media, word processing and high volume internet use with many windows open at a time.I will say that the touch screen is more suited for Windows 8 but I never purchase brand new technology until a few kinks have been worked out, so far I am happy with my mouse oriented navigating.The Microsoft app option for the start menu is different yet very helpful. I have already synced my Sony Tablet and smart phone along with other accounts of mine for a streamlined process.I honestly reccomend this desktop for those working from home or graduate students needing a little more fire power than a laptop can provide (as well as larger and beautiful screen).Kudos to HP yet again

It's been two weeks since I opened the box and so far, I have been impressed!I don't know where to start, well... there is nothing that hasn't worked great.

This Computer is missing not only a light caps on and numbers indicator on the keyboard or at least on the screen when you toggle between the two. It makes it very irritating when putting in passwords and you can't tell if the caps is on or not. So I will be replacing they keyboard with one of quality and more user friendly. I read reviews before ordering, but unfortunately, instead of rating the computer itself, folks are rating window 8, not the HP Envy Computer. I'm sure they can rate window 8 somewhere else. I probably would have still ordered the computer, I just would have ordered ordered a more user friendly keyboard at the same time.
