Okay, so I wanted to get a gaming desktop pc. I did TONS of research and I do know that building your own pc with parts is cheaper, but I decided to go the pre built route for the convenience and warranty through Squaretrade. This desktop looked like a great deal and I jumped on it. I did notice a balanced mix of good/bad reviews, but I took a chance regardless. So fast forward two days I and I get my desktop. It looks awesome in the case. I go through all the instructions in the quick start guide (basic stuff plug and start up) and when I go to power up the PC the lights went on for half a second then it shut back down. The battery inside the case was not connected correctly. I found this out by calling their customer support (IBUYPOWER). My first time calling I had to wait 30 mins for a person to help me. Once I got connected to him I had just gotten to telling him my issue and the call was hung up on (they claim disconnected). I call back and have to wait an hour to get back to customer support. After that hour I get on the phone and the guy tells me I have to call back tomorrow since they are closing. Because I got "disconnected" I had to wait another day.The next day I called after I got home from work. The guy on the phone talks down to me the entire time. "Okay did you even try to plug it into another wall outlet?", "Have you ever used a desktop before?' "How do you know that the powerless desktop is because of us?". The guy eventually has me open up the case. Remove the video card. Remove the battery and put it back together. The battery (like one you would see in a watch for those who do not know) was tilted out of it's holder and that was the problem. I put it back together and it powers on. As soon as I told him it powered on the guy hung up on me without notice. "Okay, your set".So I try using the computer and every time it would get to the windows loading screen it would follow with a blue screen. I unfortunately had to call them back again. The next person who helped me was MUCH nicer. He apologized for the guy before him and went through everything for me. The video card settings had to be changed in the boot menu. Okay, no big deal. Thanked the nice guy and went back to setting up the desktop. At this point everything is going good in the windows 7 setup until I reach the validation point. In Windows you have to use a serial number to validate the operating system (as it always has been). The serial number I was given was not valid.Anyways I decide to use the unvalidated version of windows for awhile. It seems like a great desktop. Everything went well for about an hour. Tried playing a game to see the graphics quality (which was great). After that hour or so, I get a blue screen. Every time I would power on the desktop after that I would get a blue screen. I called them again and went through the process once again. The IBUYPOWER guy said the following: "Okay, so it looks like the video card you selected for your desktop build is not compatible with the motherboard". I immediately told him that I got the pre built version on Amazon and that I had checked the compatibility of the two parts beforehand and he was wrong. He backtracked and said, "I apologize I didn't mean to say that. I meant the video card is bad, we can exchange it for you free of charge" I said alright. Call was disconnected again. At this point the customer support was closed for the day again. (By the way their customer service said to try the serial number again I must have typed it wrong, which is total bs)Instead of waiting another day I went ahead and processed the return on this piece of trash. Got that package out of here and gave it to UPS. Of course my nightmare isn't over though. I find out the following week that my package is lost [and they (UPS) claim it's at the UPS Store waiting to be picked, even though I had it picked up and WATCHED THE DRIVER TAKE IT] This is not Amazon's fault though, this was a UPS issue. Amazon took care of my return issue quickly and I am happy now.TLDR; THIS THING IS GARBAGE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY.

First of all, this is the best computer I've ever gamed on. I had actually just spent $1400 building a new computer only to find this gem on Amazon for less, so I gave the old one to my wife and had this one overnighted (love Prime!) for $4!I've had this desktop for about 2 months now and I'll list the only three cons I've found:1. Rig was shipped with no SLI connector. I'm about to purchase my 2nd card and I'll see if I can talk ibuypower into shipping me a free connector before I purchase one.2. When I bought it, it said white, not black. Oh well, just really wanted a white tower!3. Ships with NVIDIA card however mobo only supports Crossfire. This was fixed by installing HyperSLI and I'm running SLI 560's with no problem!Are those 3 problems worth losing a star? Absolutely not!BF3 plays on max with no tear and 50+fps, Tera plays on max with at least 40 fps. It's super fast, and honestly I don't think you could build this rig for less money and more convenience.I'd recommend anyone on the fence or looking for a decently priced above average gaming rig to give this a shot. Remember if you don't like it, Amazon has a no questions ask return policy!

I just opened the box for this computer and set it up in a snap. I purchased two excellent monitors (with not so good sound, but easily remedied with 2.1 external speakers).I checked all of the hardware to make sure that it was correct and that everything was properly connected. My brother is a computer nerd (and engineer), so I learned a thing or two from him.This is an excellent computer for the price paid.The blue lighting really adds to the computer (and matches the blue LED on my screens).I will comment in a few months to comment with more pros and cons.
